What started as a 'date night' turned into 'family night' once Bailee heard where we were going. This little girl LOVES basketball. Anytime she hears 'basketball' she wants to go. She loves to go watch her dad play ward ball and she even wants to go watch him Ref basketball. That's right, we go to some games just to watch the ref. (I'll get pictures of that next time). Grammy S. predicts that Bailee will be a gym rat. That's ok with us, but hopefully she'll grow into playing rather than just watching.
A friend gave us 2 tickets to this BYU game and then after we'd decided we'd take Bailee and buy her a ticket, a neighbor called and offered us 2 more. It worked out great.

Bailee was excited.....until he got too close. Then she wanted to cry; but she didn't.
Close enough though, right? So he signed her book, tried to give her high five, and entertained the crowd around us.
Such a cutie! So as we were leaving Bailee says to me: "Mom, I know what the truth is." Mom: "Oh really, what is the truth?" B: "The truth is, I want to walk." M:(stifling a laugh) "Well the truth is, there are too many cars and people for you to walk." B: (hands on hips) "Well the truth is I like to walk."
On the way home we asked Bailee what her favorite part of the game was, expecting her to say the popcorn...we were surprised when she said "Cosmo wrote his name in my book." Yeah, and we thought she was scared of him. What do we know.
