What we've been up to...

So I haven't posted in awhile, usually that results in phone calls and emails from my mom. She would be happy if I could post pictures every few minutes, just so she can keep up with Bailee. My little sister Tami has been here for a couple of weeks, and somehow the only pictures I got of her was at her last day of Basketball camp, and well...I think I've lost those. We really haven't done much of anything. By the time we're all ready to do something, it's time for lunch and naps. Then it seems when Bailee gets up it's time to make dinner. That's pretty normal for me, I'm used to it. Hopefully Tami hasn't been too bored.

We did get to go to Annie and Stretch's reception last week. It was beautiful! Luke thought we were never going to get there, but when we did, it was worth the drive. (We're so happy for you guys!)

Mostly we've played out side, run errands, and watched movies. Bailee's current favorite is Lady and the Tramp. I'm ready for her to pick a new favorite. :)

I really think that's about it. I can't believe the summer is almost over! I've been starting to think about Fall because the new Close To My Heart Fall/Winter Idea book will be arriving soon. I like to plan ahead, but I'm really not ready for summer to end! Though maybe some new fall product will get me in the mood to scrap last years fall pictures and move on from the millions of pool/water pictures I've been working with.
Bailee loves green beans! She ate almost the whole can by herself!

PVHS Panthers Take STATE

Bailee and I took a last minute trip to Wells, NV yesterday to see my 2 not-so-little-anymore sisters play in the 1A State Softball Tournament. It was a short 3 hour drive, and Bailee watched a movie the whole way over. It was so fun to watch this team play again. Most of the girls on the high school team played little league and majors for my mom. This group of girls won several little league titles, so it was so cool to see them play at the high school level, and win! Bailee had fun watching, playing with grammy, grandpa, papa and great grandma. She would yell, "Hit the ball Tami" and "Go Panthers!" or whatever the crowd was chanting. The first game they actually lost 15-2 which forced a deciding game. The girls did such a great job the second time around. Everyone was hitting, running smart, and doing their jobs. It was such a fun and well earned game. Tami scored the first of the 2 runs. Here are some shots from the day.

Go Panthers!

Pahranagat Valley 9, Mountain View 8 -- At Mountain View, Tami Spencer scored the winning run on a two-out error in the sixth inning as the Panthers nipped the Saints to win the Class 1A Southern Region title.

Pahranagat Valley took a 6-0 lead after three innings, but Mountain View rallied with an eight-run sixth inning to take an 8-6 lead.

The Saints retired the first two batters in the bottom of the sixth before the Panthers came back with three unearned runs.

Randall Van Kempen was 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI for Mountain View. Ellie Markwardt went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Both teams advance to the 1A state tournament Thursday through Saturday in Wells.
