At the Park

Bailee loves to play outside, especially if we play in the water. We had such a fun time at this park in Orem. There is a great fountain for the kids to play in. It was fun for her to have her cousin's Sahara and Canyon to play with.

Almost one!

I can't believe that Bailee is almost one! Just a week and a half left! We had her pictures taken last week and can't wait to see them! I just finished her birthday invites today and will hopefully get them out in the mail tomorrow.

This week is Strawberry Days so there are things going on like crazy. Tomorrow is the cute baby contest, of course we are entering Bailee. I just hope she doesn't cry the whole time.

My parents will be here sometime this week. It'll be fun to hang out with them, and easier this time too! We actually have enough space to hang out at home! We'll have to post some birthday pictures after the party!

I'm a bad blogger!

I've come to terms with that and I'm moving on!

Speaking of moving...Just over 2 weeks ago we moved to Pleasant Grove. I never thought I'd live here again. We are renting Van and Judi's home while they serve a mission for 18 months. They will be serving a CES mission in Hartford Connecticut for 18 months, and will be leaving July 30th. We will miss them! So for the past couple of weeks we've been unpacking and organizing our stuff, and packing up their stuff. I don't know that I've ever been as busy.

I've finally got Bailee's room pretty much done. I know some of you were pretty nervous about the pink and bright green. I'll admitt, I was too. It looks great now that I have the cute boarder up and Bailee's things in place. Just a few finishing touches left.

Luke and I are camping out downstairs for right now. I miss our real bed, but it's so big and heavy that I didn't want to carry it down only to bring it up again in 2 months. Luke doesn't get to come home for lunch anymore, it makes the days longer but we are adjusting.

The transition has actually been quite smooth. Bailee loves being able to see Grandma and Grandpa every day. She and Grandpa like to bonk heads, I don't know how they avoid the headaches.

We've already recieved callings in the new ward. Luke will be teaching Sunday School, and I'll be serving in the Young Womens organization. It's a huge change from Primary, but a welcome one.

I think that's about it for today. I will do better at posting!
